Negligent Sterilization
This whole chapter seemed to be all about the grimy and technical part of medicine. As we all know everyone make mistakes including dr. what I learned about this part of the medical field is who pays for the dr mistakes and how it is taken. If it was intentional and the dr could have avoided it or if the mistake was an act of nature and there was nothing the dr could have done. The scary part is now a days you can sue for either part and Dr are getting more cautious and more steps have to be taken to cover themselves? Is this constant fear of not getting sued hurting the dr and the patient in the long run. I feel strongly so. Now instead of focusing souly on the patient and what treatment needs to be done more is focused on making sure papers are signed and being afraid to give wrong advice. The legal aspect of the medical field has really turned me off. I understand that a lot of the rules are to protect people but feel that Dr should not have to be afraid and really focus on the patient
